Noggin
Get it out of your head.
Noggin is a web app for two partners who run a household together. It keeps tasks, calendars, meals, groceries, appointments and home upkeep in one place and shares the work fairly.
Is Noggin right for our household?
It depends on your household. Noggin fits two adults who share a home, where one of you ends up remembering and planning most of it. You both use it, so the work can be split fairly. It does not fit a household of one, a team project tool, or a bank or payments app. Some features, such as reading mail for things that need action and sending a reply, work only after you connect a Gmail or Outlook account.

What can you do with Noggin?
Get it out of your head
Type or paste everything on your mind into the brain dump. Noggin sorts it into tasks, visits, home jobs, groceries and meal ideas for you to check before anything is saved.
A fair share, by design
Each task has a size. A new task goes to whoever has the lighter week, and a load bar shows both partners' points so nobody has to keep score in their head.
Hand it off in one tap
Hand any task to your partner with a short note. They answer "Got it" or hand it back with a reason, and the balance updates.
Help me do it
For a task that needs a message or a call, Noggin writes the email draft, the call script or the steps. It never sends anything on its own: you read it and press Send, from your own personal account.
One calendar for both of you
See both partners' calendars in one week. A partner's work calendar shows only as Busy, and only if they choose to share it.
Today, in one page
The weather, your day, what is due, dinner tonight, and a short news briefing if you want one. A morning email brings the same page to your inbox.
Meals and groceries
Plan the week's dinners, keep the regulars you always buy, and send the shopping list to Instacart when you are ready. You choose the store and check out on Instacart.
Reminders that respect quiet hours
Set a reminder on a task by phone notification, email, or both. Nothing is sent during your quiet hours: it waits until they end.
Home, health and outings
Keep home upkeep, checkups and visits on one list, and get a monthly list of family outings near you that fits your kids and your week.
Features as of October 2026.
Frequently asked questions
What is Noggin?
Noggin is a web app for two partners who run a household together. It keeps tasks, calendars, meals, groceries, appointments and home upkeep in one place and shares the work fairly.
Who is Noggin for?
It is for couples and co-parents who split a home and want the remembering and planning divided fairly. Both partners use it. It is not built for a household of one.
How does Noggin split tasks fairly?
Every task has a size from 1 to 5 points. Noggin adds up each partner's open and recently finished points for the week and gives a new task to the partner with fewer. You can still choose who gets a task, and you can hand any task to your partner.
Does Noggin send email for me?
Not on its own. Noggin writes a draft. You read it and press Send, and it goes from your own personal Gmail or Outlook account, as a reply when it answers an email. A work account is never used to send.
Can my partner see my email or my drafts?
No. What Noggin finds in your mail and the drafts it writes for you are private to you. Once you add something as a task the task is shared, but the email it came from is not. Your work calendar shows to your partner only as Busy, and only if you share it.
Does Noggin place grocery orders?
No. Noggin sends your shopping list to Instacart, which opens a list page. You pick the store, swap brands and pay on Instacart. Noggin never sees your payment details.
Do I need to connect my accounts?
Only for the features that use them. Tasks, hand-offs, meals, groceries and the brain dump work without connecting anything. Calendars, mail suggestions and sending a reply need a connected Google or Microsoft account.
How do I start with Noggin?
Open the app, create an account, and invite your partner by email. Then empty your head into the brain dump.
